Evaluation Results and Case Studies

Results for the evaluation, including the cost-benefit analysis and the description of what has happened during the age management interventions in the eight Lighthouse Organisations are the analytical basis of the project.

The case studies of the nine Lighthouse Organisations and the evaluation results have all been compiled into one publication:

Competitiveness and Employment for the Future: Good Examples of Age Management in the Baltic Sea Region. A Compilation of Findings of the Project "Best Agers Lighthouses"

A bilingual study (Polish and English) with detailed results from the interviews with managers of the participating Lighthouse Organisations can be found in the download section ("Evaluation and Case Studies"): Anita Richert-Kaźmierska, Katarzyna Stankiewicz (2014): "The potential of workers aged 55+ in the opinion of managers of SMEs and public organizations from the Baltic Sea Region".

Two scientific articles summarizing evaluation results are published in the journal SOCIAL SCIENCES Nr. 3 (85)/2014:

Anita Richert-Kaźmierska: "Employees 55+ - valuable resource in SMEs"

Anita Richert-Kaźmierska, Katarzyna Stankiewicz: "Employees 50+: how they are assessed, how they assess themselves."

The following article, summarizing the opinions of employees from participating SMEs concerning Work and formal retirement age is available in the download section ("Evaluation and Case Studies").
Anita Richert-Kaźmierska, Katarzyna Stankiewicz (2014): "Work and formal retirement age – opinions of SMEs employees participating in the Best Agers Lighthouses international project". In: Hogeforster, M. and Jarke, P. (Eds.): Innovative SMEs by Gender and Age around the Mare Balticum.
