Roles in the project
As the Lead Partner of the extension stage project, the Academy of Economics Schleswig-Holstein again coordinates the overall project management and communication. It also implements two LAMPs in cooperation with the senior advisor network "Mentoren Schleswig-Holstein" which was already involved in the main stage.

About us
The Academy of Economics Schleswig-Holstein (WAK) has been providing training courses for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Schleswig-Holstein since 1967. Its vast expertise in training employees of different age groups and with different skill sets were applied in the main stage project e.g. in the development of curricula for training executives and "best-aged" employees, volunteers and entrepreneurs. The Academy of Economics contributed to the development of certificates for Best-Ager-friendly companies and public employers. It is also well-adept in implementing EU-funded projects as a partner in various INTERREG projects.

Why we participate in Best Agers (Lighthouses)
In recent years, the Academy of Economics Schleswig-Holstein has gained considerable experience in successfully placing older workers in the labor market. Taking on the issue of demographic change, the Best Agers Project profits from its European integration sharing experiences with the different participating partners from the Baltic Sea countries. By developing innovative approaches in a combined effort we can confront the risks of demographic change.
