In addition, GUT will provide professional (scientific) support during the phase of implementation and evaluation of the interventions. GUT's role in the project will also be to participate in formulation of generalised conclusions and recommendations for SMEs interested in the application of achieved solutions.

About us
Gdansk University of Technology (GUT) is an active partner in the Best Agers project, where it is mainly responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis on the situation of persons aged 55+ in the Pomeranian labour market and diagnosis of the possibilities of using the potential of older employees in the process of mentoring and coaching in companies.

Why we participate in Best Agers (Lighthouses)
GUT is an active participant in enhancing economic development in the region. Demographic change is one of the basic challenge in activities for the development of the economy, both at national and regional scale. GUT is taking part in the project for two principle reasons. Firstly, using its knowledge and academic potential, it wants to broaden and promote facts about potential socio-economic consequences of ageing society. Secondly, as one of the stakeholders in region, it wants to actively participate in creating programmes and implementing activities for mitigation effects of demographic change.
